Blanket Program for Laura Dester Shelter We are beginning our New Year 2005 with gifting to this shelter a large quantity of hand tied fleece blankets. Our plans are to make sure every child entering this shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned children receive a fleece blanket of a pattern they can choose. When these children leave this home and continue on to a foster home or family home they will have one constant secure item of love from our members, hand tied for them. Pictured on the right is one of our blanket making volunteers, Dane Reisenbigler. |
